Publish Time:2017-11-29

On 8 November 2017 Meals on Wheels (MOW) hosted a special luncheon to extend their appreciation to the more than 100 volunteers that lend their time to help out the organisation.

Gunnedah Meals on Wheels President, Colleen Fuller said, “Our volunteers are crucial to the success of the service and we would like to recognise their important contribution to the community.”

“We have had an immense amount of support from Shenhua over the years and we thank the staff for their ongoing commitment to volunteering for Meals on Wheels.”

Shenhua’s Community Liaison Officer, Debbie Watson said, “Shenhua staff teamed up with the local volunteer organisation Meals on Wheels in 2013, with a large percentage of staff consistently rostered on.  The initiative is just another important way that Shenhua can make a positive contribution to the local community.”
