The region's top innovators were recognised at the Regional Development Australia Northern Inland awards night held in Glen Innes on 20 November 2015. This is the eighth year the awards have been presented and over 60 of the region's best businesses and organisations were judged across all categories. The event was attended by over 130 people from Mungindi to the Liverpool Plains and across to Tenterfield.
RDANI Chairman, Russell Stewart said it had been a challenging task for the judges given the strong field of nominations. Literally every entry was a winner with an inspiring story to tell.

The Company has also signed up for the new initiative of Meals on Wheels "The Buddy Program".
Community Liaison Officer, Debbie Watson said, "Shenhua is very committed to the community and our mission is to be a socially responsible company, which is ingrained into our operations at all levels. Our plan is to not just develop a first-class mine but also to be an integral and contributing member of the Community. Our community volunteering is just one part of that community relationship".
