On 23 November 2015 Shenhua Watermark was honoured to receive a visit from Dr Ling Wen, Chief Executive Officer of Shenhua Group.
The timely visit from Dr Ling was to thank the Shenhua Group for the progressing of the Watermark Project. He reinforced that the Project needs to take account of current commodity markets in respect of its future progression.
Dr Ling was suitably impressed by the outstanding work that had been completed thus far and encouraged all staff to remain determined throughout the next stage of the Project. He acknowledged the staff’s willingness to integrate and support the community which was evidenced by the recent award for Innovative Community Contribution for their volunteering efforts with Meals on Wheels.
Dr Ling re-affirmed Beijing's support and commitment to the Watermark Project, stating that the Shenhua Group places great importance on the future success of the Shenhua Watermark as a Project that can enhance and build on China's relationships and trade with Australia. He also emphasised the importance of the Watermark Project to the Shenhua Group.
