Shenhua Staff in Yellow

Publish Time:2014-08-22
Friday, 22 August 2014 saw Shenhua staff participate in a company morning tea to raise funds for Daffodil Day; the largest national fundraising event of its kind in the southern hemisphere.

This year, the Cancer Council hopes to raise $3.2 million in NSW with funds going towards cancer research, prevention, advocacy programs and support services.

Shenhua staff donned yellow items of clothing and dined on a morning tea of yellow delicacies with staff contributing a gold coin to participate. The money raised by Shenhua staff is able to fund a call to a cancer nurse that provides free and confidential information and support on all aspects of cancer. Shenhua staff were keen to support this initiative and are proud to be able to contribute to a worthy cause.
