Tamworth Business Chamber

The Tamworth Business Chamber recently held a Leaders Forum to discuss supply chain opportunities and business participation for the expanding mining sector at the Powerhouse Hotel in Tamworth.
A crowd of over 100 people from mining companies, mining related industries through to interested community members attended the evening where representatives from the NSW Minerals Council, Boggabri Coal, BHP Billiton, Whitehaven Coal and Shenhua Watermark Coal were invited to make a presentation.
Paul Jackson, Shenhua Project Manager, provided an overview and update on the Watermark Project including information on the project layout, project scope, 2014 key milestones, project schedule, work plan for 2014, Year 5,10,15,21,25 and 30 mine plan and the supply chain potential both direct and indirect. A detailed fly-over over the watermark site was also shown to the audience.
Shenhua is proud to continue their engagement with the community by supporting initiatives of the Tamworth Business Chamber through their attendance at Networking functions and presentations to the business community.
