Shenhua Goes Pink

Publish Time:2013-11-18

Staff from Shenhua Watermark joined together in a sea of Pink recently to raise funds for Pink Ribbon Day.

The day raises awareness of breast and gynaecological cancers, as well as offering emotional and financial support to the many thousands of women in Australia and their families who are affected by these cancers.

Debbie Watson, Shenhua's Community Liaison Officer, said "Shenhua staff continually support national fundraising events at the local level and wore pink to work as a way of emphasising their goal of becoming active and valued members of the community.

"Although only a small contribution in the overall scheme of things, it shows that we are committed to community efforts to provide funds for research, prevention and treatment," she said.
